We also use so-called cookies in our online shop. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer or mobile device every time you visit. Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website, but blocking cookies limits the functionality of our online shop. We provide you with the following information about the use of cookies on our website:

3.1 Why we use cookies
Cookies are an essential part of making our online shop work. The functionality of the shopping cart is secured by cookies. In addition, we use cookies to adapt our offer to your wishes and to make surfing in our online shop more comfortable for you. Cookies can and do improve our advertising activities by enabling us to show you products in our advertising that are likely to be of interest to you based on your browsing behavior. We aim to show you advertising that is tailored to your interests and relevant to you.

3.2 Which cookies we use
When it comes to cookies, we differentiate between so-called session cookies and temporary or permanent cookies. Session cookies are, for example, automatically deleted from your computer/mobile device after the end of the browser session. For example, we use session cookies to save your country and language settings and your shopping cart across different pages of the respective Internet session.

Temporary or permanent cookies are also stored on your computer/mobile device after the end of the respective session and are automatically recognized the next time you visit our website. For example, your preferred settings can be automatically reloaded. Depending on the type, these cookies are stored for between one month and ten years and are only automatically deleted after the programmed time has expired.

The cookies we use enable us to make our web shop more user-friendly, effective and secure and to provide you with information based on your interests.

3.3 Third Party Cookies
We work closely with other advertising partners. These help us to improve the offer on our website and to make it more interesting for you. These partner companies set their own temporary and permanent cookies on our website, which are stored on your hard drive. These cookies are also automatically deleted from your hard drive after the pre-installed lifetime (1 month to 10 years). Our partners collect various data on our behalf about which products you searched for, bought and which pages you looked at. The cookies of our partners only contain pseudonymous, mostly even only anonymous data. By using retargeting technologies, we can make our website more interesting for you. For example, users who are already interested in our web shop and our products are shown advertising on our partners’ websites that could be of interest to the respective user based on the data collected. This type of advertising is of course also completely pseudonymous.

The advertising partners for the retargeting technologies are the following:

- Google, Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/technologies/ads/

3.4 Is personal data stored in a cookie?
No personal data is stored in the cookies we use and therefore a cookie cannot be assigned to a specific person. When the cookie is activated, an identification number is assigned to the corresponding cookie, but this does not enable it to be assigned to your personal data. For example, your name, your IP address or similar will not be placed in the cookie, so that it will not be possible to trace your person later. The cookie technology delivers and only pseudonymised information. For example, we can then understand which pages of our website were visited the most and which products are the most popular. Based on this information we can improve your shopping experience.

3.5 Can you prevent the storage of cookies?
The common Internet browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can easily prevent this. For example, you can block all cookies or instruct the browser to ask for your consent before storing a cookie.
