The waiting is over:
After Microfiber Madness had brought rim cleaning to a completely new level with the Incredibrush a year earlier in terms of gentle application, customers with large brake systems or very small rims initially had to do without cleaning with the Incredibrush. Due to the foam core, the Incredibrush only fit rims that had a space of approx. 5cm between the inner bed and brake piston or heat shield.
With the Microfiber Madness Incredibrush FLAT, all those who previously had too little space for the Incredibrush can now enjoy this luxury rim brush. Because now about 2.5 - 3cm are enough to work with the flat version of the rim brush. Whether it was a large brake system blocking the way or small aluminum rims running too close to the heat shield - now there should only be a few vehicle owners who cannot work with the Incredibrush FLAT.
Of course, all other advantages have remained the same: the Incredibrush is still the gentle alternative to the previous rim brushes, whose bristles are usually made of firmer plastic. Of course, the microfibre cover can still be removed and washed in the washing machine. It is also true that you can continue to wear the MADE IN GERMANY seal with pride, because the Incredibrush FLAT, like its "big brother", is still made in Germany.

Since the use of the products is a constant learning process, a few improvements have already been implemented in the course of production of the Incredibrush, which of course also fully benefit the FLAT version. The foam core is now delivered with a smooth black fabric cover. On the one hand, this means that the brush remains a bit more stylish when you have removed the microfibre cover and, on the other hand, it glides much better over the black fabric than before directly on the foam.
The design of the microfiber cover itself is also new: While it initially had a Velcro fastener, it was changed to an elastic band in the course of production. This also makes it much easier to handle when it is slipped on and off. You no longer have to be careful that the microfiber threads get caught in the Velcro.
Of course, as usual, you don't have to do without rim cleaner. So far, the Incredibrush and Incredibrush FLAT have been successfully tested with, for example, the Aluteufel Spezial, the Valet Pro Bilberry and the IronX as well as with acidic cleaners. In order to reach hard-to-reach places, the Incredibrush FLAT can be bent up to 90°, although it should be noted that bending back and forth too often can naturally weaken the inner wire and possibly lead to breakage.
Extension program + upgrade 2020
For the Incredibrush and Incredibrush FLAT, materials of the highest quality were used from the start, and that doesn't just apply to the coating made from the well-known Incredi material. The basic structure is a rust-free, multi-twist stainless steel wire, which is covered with a sturdy plastic tube to avoid the risk of scratches in the first place.
In 2020, Microfiber Madness decided to replace the hard plastic "tool handle" with a completely self-made handle. A special plastic is used here, which offers a feel similar to a rubberized surface. This increases the slip resistance when the handle is wet and at the same time the ergonomics of use. At the same time, the finger protection was integrated into the handle in the course of creating our own tools. This effectively protects against injuries caused by swinging the Incredibrush back and forth too vigorously.
At the upper end of the rim brush there is an absorbent foam sponge that can absorb approx. 100ml of water and release it again during cleaning. In this way you always have enough gliding ability to remove the loosened dirt. The Incredi coating itself is currently the most gentle and effective material when it comes to microfiber and cleans even shiny black, clear-lacquered rims with a reduced risk of scratches. In addition, rims protected with sealants or waxes are subjected to significantly less stress than when they are cleaned with a plastic brush. The pleasant side effect of the gentle cleaning is also a longer service life of the rim protection. Of course, the Incredibrush can be used on all rims - regardless of whether they are clear-coated, polished, powder-coated, chrome-plated or high-gloss sealed.
The best comes last
In order to put the icing on the cake for the Incredibrush, so to speak, there was the idea right from the start not only to make the cover removable and therefore washable, but also to offer it as a replacement. In this way, you can prepare a second cover and use it accordingly while the first one is doing its rounds in the washing machine. The Incredibrush FLAT is therefore always ready for use and the dirt accumulated by cleaning the rims can be reliably washed out of the cover after each use.
Hints:
The cover of the previous Incredibrush does NOT fit on the Incredibrush FLAT or only to a very limited extent (loosely!). Please pay attention to this when purchasing and order the correct cover as a replacement.
Due to the integrated foam core, there should be about 2.5 cm of space between the brake caliper and the rim bed so that the rim brush can also get past the brake system.
